Only had dinner, didn't stay. Food was excellent, oysters, scallops, duck, all perfect. Excellent wine list, had my partners favourite, white rioja, by the glass. Could have more than one gluten-free dessert, all of the ones on the menu are pretty easy to adapt, and it was the most watery pint of Guinness I've had in a while, if you don't sell enough of it to keep the lines running well don't sell it. 9/10 but 5 stars on here.

Have a regular facial here which is fantastic. Chelsea their therapist is highly recommended. She goes above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. Can't recommend it enough.

We had a one night stay to help unwind and got everything we were hoping for and more. Views of the Loch and mountains are visible from most seats in the bar and restaurant and the Shore Spa. We called ahead for a treatment recommendation and booked the Stress Not hot stone couples massage. It was incredible. I have had a few types of massages and we both thought the hot stone was amazing and so relaxing. We first made use of the heated indoor pool, outdoor hot tub with beautiful views of the loch, outdoor sauna pod. Seating around the pool is limited, fresh towels and basic toiletries are provided and rooms come with dressing gowns you can wear to the spa. Spa footwear is not provided - we brought our sliders. The facilities are good on the whole - the poolside shower experience didn't seem to be working, but with steam room, indoor salt room and outdoor sauna, indoor and outdoor hot tub and swimming pool we had plenty to occupy us and help relax in advance of our treatment. This was followed by a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant, accompanied by a decent wine list. Not the cheapest but you really get what you pay for. The room facilities were good and our room had a bath, TV with Netflix login options etc. The bed was a standard double. A different choice of pillow would have been great for my husband as he struggled to get comfortable but I'm really picking at details. We had a nightcap in the lounge after dinner over a game of Scrabble - there are a few games and comfy seats. Breakfast the next day was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. We paid for a late checkout (£10 per extra hour) so we could enjoy the spa facilities and take out time checking out. We both glided out after a comfortable and relaxing stay and already feeling the benefits of a real pamper weekend.

I recently stayed here with my Mum and we would 100% recommend visiting this hotel - we're already planning our next visit! We stumbled across the hotel through Secret Escapes, finding an offer which suited us and our preferences best. The hotel is charming, welcoming and cosy - with a beautiful viewpoint across the loch. Our room had everything we required for our stay and felt like home very quickly. We really enjoyed the on-site spa, which is a great facility with plenty of options (pool, hot tubs indoors and outdoors, sauna, steam room). A highlight of our stay was the food/service in the on-site bistro. We would really recommend the afternoon tea, as well as the duck and lamb dishes (and the pear & honey tart) on the dinner menu. Staff in the bistro were all very friendly, engaging and accommodating.

Stayed here for a special birthday and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The location is beautiful, with stunning views over Loch Fyne from the spa area and restaurant. The room was charming and spotlessly clean. The pool/spa area was so relaxing, well maintained, and very clean. The only thing that could be improved upon is the number of loungers available inside the pool area, as 4 just wasn't enough when it was busy. It would also be good to have some water available by the sauna or steam room (some herbal tea would be a lovely touch, too). We had a delicious dinner, and then breakfast in the bistro. Our server Pablo was very professional, attentive, and good humoured. The little touches to acknowledge my family member's birthday made our stay all the better. We can't wait to come back!

If you're looking for dog friendly hotel look no more! Our dog is not used to staying in hotels or going to restaurants so was bit worried how it will go but all staff made us feel welcomed and was so friendly with Daisy. She got so spoiled with treats all the time and sausages and cheese during breakfast. Food and service in restaurant was amazing and quick. Spa facilities were great too. Can't wait to be back! 🐾

Very helpful, and the staff help you if you have a problem with trying to get out of your room. Breakfast and dinner staff are polite and well mannered as well as the people who work in the spa. Thank you

We enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay here with our dog and I can’t say enough positive words about the staff here. They are so friendly and welcoming! Our dog got treated like royalty, spoiled with sausages and treats; she loved it! Our room was cosy yet spacious and the facilties (pool, steam room, jacuzzi etc) were great. Food in the restaurant was tasty and service was quick. I enjoyed one of the best facials I've ever had (Ultimate Luxury Ishga Facial) with the lovely Chelsea! I hope we get the opportunity to return again soon.

Couldn't recommend this hotel anymore, we had a beautiful 3 night stay and wished we had longer. The team made us feel right at home (especially Niall & Aiden), the Spa facilities were fab and our evening meal in the hotel restaurant was delicious. We were travelling with our 7 month old baby and dog - Stanley. Nothing was too much to ask and the team treated Stan like the princess his is. I had a lovely massage and facial with Margaret, definitely recommend booking in advance - you don't want to miss out. I'm sure we'll be back again soon :)

We stayed here for two nights. Lovely room and bathroom. The spa is lovely and great outdoor thermal experience. Feel like more deals with the spa would be beneficial such as a couples experience or a more discounted rate for those staying longer. The staff were lovely and welcoming.

Ultimately our stay here was a bit disappointing. The hotel is in a fabulous location directly overlooking the stunning Loch Fyne. However, as we would find out, most of the rooms do not enjoy the view of the Loch and overlook the hotel car park at the rear. We were staying for one night on a tour of the Highlands, so ordinarily it wouldn't have mattered too much but when the local catering company arrives at 6.25 am on a Saturday morning, and proceeds to leave all the doors open on the van, music blaring, I was somewhat less understanding. On the plus side the staff were great, although we struggled remotely to book a Spa appointment, so that didn't happen which was a shame. But a small selection of cakes with a Happy Birthday message was a nice touch. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Very nice stay. The hotel was quiet and just a short walk from the town. Nice little supermarket 300 yards away. Very friendly, professional and truly dog friendly. Very nice large bar area. Restaurant was very good. Spa was great too. EV chargers were both not working but we managed. Can’t fault this hotel. 5 stars - highly recommend.

We had a spa day here and it was so special, we were checked in by the general manager, Niall O"Shaughnessy, he was so lovely and helpful, he took us round to the spa reception and they then gave us a short form to fill in. we sat in the nice relaxing area and there was cold water to help ourselves to and some of the products to sample. We were then given our robes and slippers and shown round the spa area so we knew where everything was, there were fresh towels to help ourselves too. The spa was beautiful, well kept and calm. The outdoor hot tub was so warm it was great especially on a overcast day. The pool and inside hot tub were equally wonderful. There were only a few loungers which was fine at the start of the day but as it became busier it was a bit more difficult but didn't take away from the day. You could also get drinks from the bar and bring them throught to the pool as long as they weren't in glass. As part of the spa day package in had a 25 min massage with Margaret, it was one of the best massages I've had in a long time, the room was very calming and the music had me almost asleep. We also had an afternoon tea in the main lounge and it was again so special, tea and coffee in a beautiful setting then the platter arrived and we were spoilt for choice. the scones were the best part tho as they were just out of the over so very light and fluffy, with jam and cream, it was perfect as were the other cakes. All the staff were helpful and polite, when ever he saw us Niall spoke and checked were doing ok. After tea we wont back to the pool for another hour or so. I loved the salt room and we were advised to go in there for a while after our massages. I highly recommend this deal or just to go for the afternoon tea as a treat. One of our group has already booked a 2 night stay laster this year and we will be booking another spa day very soon.

Expensive but good service and helpful staff. Food choices not really to our taste, but willing to accommodate us at a price. Superb location and comfortable rooms.
